I got to the Point Defiance Boat launch about 4:45am. Cami and Glen were late. Kokanee Kid (Chuck)was on his way. The plan had been to fish for Kings at the Slag Pile until Chuck got there. By the time we launched he was almost in the park so we waited for him. After picking him up at the boat house we headed for the Girl Scout Camp where we spent about 3 hours with only a few babies biting. It was very foggy! So we pack up and go on the search for PINKS! We found a group of boats at Neill Point (in the sun) hooking up so we get on the outside of them in 8-9foot of water and try to teach Kokanee Kid how to twitch-jig for pinks. He figures it out and finds that his trout (kokanee) spinning rod is a light weight weapon for these fighters! I get one on
“Who is going to net my fish?” I cried! Cami on camera, Chuck in the bow, and Glen, well Glen saw 4 fish following mine so he is casting towards them and laughs at me. What is a girl to? By golly, she nets her own fish! Getting it done!
We get some fish and they move on so we do, too, over across the harbor. We finish around 12pm with 9 in the box and I call that a successful day. Chuck and I used Wannafish A Lure’s DPS jigs Rabbit and marabou. Glen used a buzz bomb. Cami took pictures and brought one in on Chuck’s spinning rod. I have to show pictures I took of her hair rising experience.

We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.

great job Toni, sorry I didn't see you out there. Where is Neil point? Is it at the entrance to Quartermaster harbor as I almost went there today with my dead main motor instead of Browns point but have never fished that point before. Dang!
