Last Saturday I went fishing with my usual partner. I live in Bremerton so its about an hour drive to get there. when we arrived the gate had been closed but with our luck we hit the hydroplane guys that were going to be cleaning up the lake so they let us through. I started out with my trolling gear because there was nothing jumping and the re were no bugs on the water so I figured to just fish a little deeper than normal. well I trolled around the lake a couple of time and to my surprise it was pretty dead and that's unusual for this lake because it usually provides some excellent fishing in early spring. but I decided to give up on it that day and take a trip on over to Leland.
