Joined some of my fellow anglers this morning at point no point to practice for the pink run. I arrived about 0430 and there were around 10 people already plunking buzz bombs from the beach. The bait were jumping and it looked really fishy so I hurriedly rigged up my 2 inch pink buzz bomb and let heave. For the two hours that I was there I saw two people catch one about the same size (~12 inches) and at about the same time. I saw one nice one roll on some bait-fish and I caught one 7 incher just before the sun topped the mountains and the bait stopped jumping.

Nice report:) I always fish late July for pinks there. One way of figuring what salmon is thick is going to the fish ladder. Hit up the kings now. They're here!!!!! I'll be out Friday. Can't wait!

Yeah.... No catch and keep Kings until the 16th of July in area 9-10..... Cant wait to get out myself for some nook slabs...

Nice, I might try checking out point no point with the girlfriend when were visiting over there next weekend, but that of course means waking up super early to get the good spot along the point. Definitely waiting for the king opener on the 16th to fish Jeff Head, we'll be heading out on my dad's boat next weekend though for some resident coho at Jeff Head.

@shipwreckeddude, the fish ladder is in Ballard. Cool place to check out. I forgot to say that I'm going to the San Juan's, a buddy of mine caught his limit in 4hrs. I'm heading there this Friday! I'm getting stoked talking about it!!!!

Fish ladder at locks?? Pinks don't even go in Lake Washington.. Pinks show up end of July into August .. Sockeye are first then king,pink,silver,chum.. In that order.
