Fished opening day of lingcod and had a blast! Spent more time trying to find what depth the sand dab are located right now. Once I found the depth it didn't take long and had my bait. Cruised over to ling territory and instantly had one one, but lost it. Then even with using large live bait, hooked large rock fish and released that. Next nailed a nice 35 inch ling and was done with fishing with a 1 fish limit and me being the only one in the boat. Only spent about 10 minutes fishing for the lings and much more time fishing for bait. Great fishing!!!
