If you want hard fightin' bows, this is the place to go. Since no surface activity was visible, I started (and finished) with a Wolly Bugger on a sinking line. Olive with a grizzly hackle was unstoppable. Most fish were about 15" but came in around 2 lbs. Caught three that were likely triploids since they were almost as big around as they were long. Found best action in about 20' depth and variable speed retrieve. Of the 14 fish I netted, three were likely over 4 lbs. Be careful with light tippet, you don't need it with a sinking line, and these fish pull so hard that the drag of the line can be enough to break you off.
