Go get yourself some chrome fish! The rain brought fresh fish in, most fish I saw hooked were pretty chrome. Got these two hens. Nice meat for smoking, and four tight skeins.

I have never fished this area before. I am thinking about heading out on sunday. Can anybody tell me if this can only be fished on a low tide or can it be fished on either tide? Also is there any small launches near by. It would be nice to anchor up and cast it to the fish if possible. Thanks for the help.

From the looks of things it is a better fishery on the incoming. I was there today in the AM and not much happening and Red Beard was there at tide change but haven't heard any reports how this evening went. There are fish there all the time though and if you are going Sunday I would go early if you can to get a parking spot and there should be a pretty good incoming tide that day. There is a small launch just north on Chico way that is run by the city of Chico but just be careful where you park~ there is an area to park your trucks that is not marked as no parking.

@Red Beard, oh yea tons of people BBQ chum. Most people wrap the Chums in tin foil with some lemons and garlic, maybe a bit of salt and pepper, BBQ it for about 15 minutes on High then put everything but the Tin Foil in the Trash. Finally try to serve that Tin Foil nice and hot, but really it can be cold too, just as long as people don't taste the chum....
