Got a call at 3:45am, the weather was pretty crappy, lets see what the afternoon looks like he says. Hit the water right before high tide, 2:00pm or so. The PS was like a lake, glassy and smooch, the change in conditions from the morning was welcome indeed. I was driving the boat while the man with the plan worked his magic, first fish on before the gear was even at depth, bashed it on the way down! Nice fight and the fish was in the hole, gear back down, and about five minutes later, same thing! Could see fish on the finder, went back around, hooked up again, lost em. The tide was going out at this point, so rode a rip, bait and arcs on the finder, and about two minutes later, BAM...hooked up with the biggest one we landed, great fighting fish...while I was fighting him other fish were hitting the surface around him, it was wicked cool. He took a while to come in, great fighting fish, gotta love Silvers! The last one came about twenty minutes later, limited out in about an hour and forty five minutes. Last Monday was good, we had a double hook up, limited out as well, but today was awesome! Limiting out that quick and the conditions being what they were, well, it was unique in my experience. The fish are full of fat, I just had a piece and it was pure heaven, my gal loves this time of year, lucky for me she loves fresh salmon. The run this year has been great so far, and it should only get better! Good luck everyone, have a great time out there!
