Left port at 4.30AM. were on the grounds with jigs in the water by 7.30. Not five minutes into the troll fish on one of the hand lines. Circled and tried for a bait stop. Cleared hand lines and jig rods and bait rods into the water. By the time i got baited up there were three fish on and the circus was on. More fish on and tangled lines and lost fish to follow. By the time they quit biting we had put three fish in the boat and lost maybe ten.A good ass chewing by the captin and one more time on how to follow your fish and how to avoid tangles over under as they are trying to fight their fish and watch your lines and pay attention to what is happening around you. Back on the troll fish on a jig rod two more on the hand lines. Fish and jig lines are cleared and bait is in the water six out of ten have fish on and a wide open bite that lasts for two hours with who knows how many fish in the boat. Fish being iced down bled and then transfered to holding areas on ice. On to one more troll and our final bait stop. At 12.30 the captain said he has no more room for any more fish and we head back to port wiser in the ways of charter fishing for Tuna with sore muscles and smiles on everybodys faces.Back at Port we finally ended up wih a total count 74 Tuna .What a great day. I will have to do this again.
