I went out with my friends Glen and Cami for a F24 Xperience with another gentleman, whose name I don’t know how to spell. I rigged up the Hot Spot White Glow Flasher with the Wannafish A Lure Zebra Mojo while Glen had for the gentleman a Pro-Troll White glow and the Zebra Mojo. Then we commenced trolling at the slag pile by the Point Defiance Marina. A couple of other boats caught fish and then the gentleman got the take down and it was king in the boat. Nice fish, weighing in the teens. Other boats got fish. Then I switched to the new Wannafish A Lure F24 Mojo and I set it down and it got hit, then nothing, seconds later I got another hit but it was to be my fish-less day. I did get one more take down and the gentleman got 2 shakers but it was to be a one fish day for the F24 Xperience. This was the first king salmon for the gentleman and his cooler was too small for the fish. Always a great problem to have.
There was a beautiful sunrise and the weather was just right. The tides were Low 6:58 AM -0.5 High 2:51 PM 10.4. We started fishing about 5:30am and finished at 10:30am.
