Pulled up to Beaver Lake at about 9a.m., the boat launch parking lot was empty. Fished from a float tube for 2 1/2 hours with no luck, I tried some small spoons and spinners. Found one real nice bank with good cover and some submerged logs, tried several tactics here with no luck. Saw three other fishermen all of them plunking bait, they were not seeing any action either. Enforcement was there when I got back, they said that all lakes that they had been to where still pretty quit. I asked about the early stocks that are listed for king county on their website and they said that none of that had happened yet. Also talked to one bank angler who said he had caught some nice carry over trout to 20 inches. All in all a nice lake, limited access for bank fishing, great lake for small boat or tube if you can find the fish.
