Went to a long time friends on Hood Canal with part of my family. That would be wife, step daughter and step son. My friend has a beautiful place there with lot's of lodging and, well, pretty much everything that you would need.

He already had the pots in so, for that, I did all the pulling. Took his swim dock out on Saturday evening and got 6 or 7 crab, I believe. I think alcohol was already playing a part:) Nothing spectacular other than the weather, the water, and the companionship. It was awesome.

Afterwards we took the swim dock, that has a 6 horse Mercury up the beach and b.s.'d all the neighbors. Did some more drinking and some swimming. Watched one neighbor light off a couple grand in fireworks while eating crab and, well, some more drinking.

Wife had a great time as did the kids. It was like paradise out there. Between all the eating and drinking and crabbing and socializing the beach folk, we also kayaked and rode some quads and or a Rhino around the multiple properties that surround my friends , all the while, stopping to say "Hi" to the neighbor's, again, and from a different angle.
