Took my new Hobie kayak out to the jetty on Saturday.Met up with a friend from Olympia.We went nearly to the end of the jetty and threw plastic grubs,mostly white,and slayed the black rockfish.Hooked up with several underlings that were a lot of fun but didn't find any keepers.There were 4 power boats out with us and they seemed to be doing pretty good as well. The swell was 5' with 10 knot winds.Even though the sun didn't come out til we were leaving...it was a good day on the water. Sorry--no pics this time.
