I went out today with one of my friends, hoping to get us on some fish. We got a late start because of some drinking that happened last night. Woke up around 7 and we were fishing around 8:30 out by Jeff's Head. I was using a Coyote Spoon with a flasher while I put a pink squid and flasher on his pole to see if he could get some pinks on. On the first pass through I got a good bite. My friend told me that I had a fish and I went after it, after I set the hook the fish came up right afterwards and jumped out the water. I saw it was a decent sized fish and was hoping that it wasn't a king. The fish was peeling line and I was thinking okay it's gotta be a king and after about 10 minutes of fighting the fish I got it in the net because I saw no fin to check to see what it was. Checked it and saw it was a coho. So after that I was thinking, okay, were going to have a good morning and probably get a few more in the boat, I was wrong. We didn't get a bite the rest of the time we were there and left around 11:30 AM. The fish was already turning to spawning mode with the nose already being somewhat hooked. Might head back out there tomorrow morning with him to try to get my friend on a fish. Pics are of the fish caught today.

"because of some drinking that happened last night". ???!!?? That is a good line. It sounds so... well..accidental. Hangover..never let it keep a good fisher from his task!

Haha it wasn't accidental, we were anticipating a late start because of the drinking until 2 am. I still got one keeper though!
