Hump-Fest..part II. After yesterday,, I had to go back and see if it would be repeated, and for the most part, it was. The word was out, 'cause there were a lot more people fishing. Shoulder to shoulder for as far as you could see in the fog. I found a little room at the western edge of little North Beach, and set up shop about 8:50. A few fish were being caught occasionally, and the fellow next to me seemed like he might be thinking of leaving, so I suggested that he stick around at least until slack at 9:42. At about 9:25 things started to pick up. By 9:40, there were doubles and triples up and down the beach.......maybe not quite as crazy as Saturday, but darn fun.
I switched to a 2 1/2 inch buzz bomb that was holographic silver with pink highlights, just so I could be different from everyone else, and it worked out great. One nice little hen, and about a 6 lb. coho.
I quit fishing ( the wife dared me to bring home more fish, but I thought I could get away with 2), and took a little video of the action, I'll have to see if I can upload it.
Great morning in the pass, and I only had to hit one boat with my buzz bomb.
On my way home by 10:15.
