I caught a small salmon within the first 45 minutes of getting there at high tide on a Wannafish A Lure DPS 5. I got a nice rock crab within the first hour. I had several nice sized dungeness and rock crabs but they were soft shelled. After that I got nothing but sun. Free vitamin D! Jacob fishing next to us got his limit. Pink poles (Kim) reel went haywire so she couldn’t reel her fish in and a seal got one of them so she left early. My net sure saw action though.
I was there 6am-4pm. .
I found that from 1:30 -3:30 there were lots of schools coming through and at times they didn’t even look at the pink curtain they were going by. Other times there would be chasers. Saw some one dragging a net out from their boat but they didn’t stay around long. They were out past the dock.
Someone wanted to know about carrying my gear out there so I took a picture of it.
The tides were High 6:17 AM 10.2 feet Low 12:38 PM 0.5 feet
High 7:17 PM 11.8 feet.
