I only had about 2 hours to fish on Sat. I dropped in at Don Armeni at 05:00 to make the run over to west point. Made a few passes near the bouy following the tide rips. Got one good hit and lost it about 30 feet from the boat. Took off from west and headed over to meadows point. Cruised around there for the remaining hour of fishing I had left, following the rip lines, changing speed doing a few zig zags and nothing until the last 5 mins. Just when I started thinking I was getting skunked, the rod tip was dancing. Pulled in a 20 inch resident coho. I was running a Silver Horde Tailwager in cookies N creame 5 feet back from a Protroll green glow flasher 35 feet back from the D-rigger ball.
