Had a buddy call me on Saturday and asked if I wanted to go fishing on the 31st. He told me to meet him at the Pt. Defiance Launch at 430am but I was so excited I got there at 330, couldnt sleep! Anyways, we started out at the slag pile with flashers and hootchies(Green Spatterback) but had no luck. I called my brother around 6am and told him I was using a hootchie and he asked me WTF are you using a hootchie for? lol So he told me to switch to a cookies and cream spoon and what do you know? FISH ON! nice 16# hen... perfect timing too because I have my grandpas 82nd bday bbq and its going to be tasty! : )
