With the promise of nice weather condtions and a favorable tide, I decided to try my luck on the Sound. The water was like glass and the skys slightly overcast for most of the day, couldn't ask for better conditions. Only problem was there were no chinook in the area. We saw some bait on the surface and occssionally some on the fish finder, enought to keep our hopes up but all I could manage was flounder whenever the gear got too close to the bottom. We ran hoochies, spoons and Brad's Cutplugs throughout the water column to no avial. On the plus side, the boat traffic was minimal and the lauch at Redondo was mostly empty.
