Another early start and another great day of fishing. Skipped the steelheading today and went right for the lings. I got my keep on my first cast at 9 lbs 29 inches. Caught and released 5 others 3 of them were 30 + inches. My buddy caught and released 11 smaller ones and kept a 30 incher.

After a while 5 other guys came out to our spot who didnt know what they were doing so I targeted sea bass and did well. Wish they were open becasue they are everywhere! In the picture, I'm the one with the thumb over my head.

where are you guys fishing off the rocks i have been out at double bluff doing quite well just seeing where you are at on whidbey cause i dont know anywhere you can fish from shore

makes me want fish and chips! What lb. leader do you use?

using 20lb main line with 30lb leader....but even that gets beat up pretty good from their teeth
