As I got to the Pier at 7:15am they netted a 4-5lb. Silver. That was it for salmon. I got the crab nets in by 7:30am. I was able to be picky about the crabs I brought home since they were fairly consistent in the net. I didn't get any legal Dungeness but others did. I brought home 3 nice rock crabs.
Those of us on the dock did get to witness a dog on the beach attack a guy. 911 was called. The fire dept came, the aid vehicle, battalion chief, then the police, then animal control, and then the news crew. The dog attacked his arm and he did have puncture wounds and was bleeding. Lots going on!
WDFW came and caught some guys getting illegal crabs in a boat that they launched right from the shore at the parking lot.
I left at 4pm. I can’t wait for next year!!!!
