Got to fish with Dave from the site. We launched out of Everett at 4:45am. My first time launching here, what a great facility. The ride to Possession in Dave's boat was smooth. ONce out there the water wasn't. We fished from 5am to 9:30am in the horseshoe, depths ranging from 90 to 140 ft. Trolling a variety of gear, one hugging bottom and the other suspended. Tough fishing for us, no takers. Battled a steady southernly wind the chopped the water up to 3-4 ft waves. Dave's boat was quite stable and comfortable. We saw a few fish netted but over all it looked pretty slow. One guy said he had three in the boat. It sure was nice to get out on the salt - thanks Dave!
