Okay, now for the salmon report. We checked in at the boathouse around noon and they had 6 checked in at that time. Fished the point first and worked our way out to deeper water, trolling with a white plug and a spoon also tried a hoochie, noted many fish at or near the bottom in about 250' of water. Just before low tide and about an hour after we jigged the bottom with candlefish, both white and green. Then moved over to the vashion island side south of the ferry dock and jigged some more. Last hour before dark tried trolling again with hoochies.
Nothing, not even one salmon hit, only 1/2 dozen or so dog fish. I have been trying for 3 years to figure this out. Been online at Salmon University, read a book on Puget Sound salmon fishing, and talked with several people who do well at it. I wish I could just figure this out, so frustrating.Tried fishing 250' ahere we marked the fish, On the Vashon side tried trolling 60 to 100' in 90 to 170' of water, nothing.
Well eventually someone will help me and I will get this figured out, but today nothing.
