Tough go today to get keepers. Crabbed 3 pots for 4 hrs and only took home 5 keepers. Lots of people crabbing and moving around. I assume that they must have had similar results. Pots would come up full but lots of smallies and females. Crabbed the same area as the past few times out. In between Port Susan and Hat Island.

Oh well. Such is luck.

Sounds like the Tribes and Commercial crabbers hit that area before the season opened to the public. Same up north around Camano Island. Usually they either crab in Everett or up around Camano Island but I've never seen them crab both before. Thank you State of Wasghngton. How nice of you!
