Hit the bubble around 6:45am with my buddy Dave. At 8am, we had a hit, fish peeling line off the reel. Fought it and chased it with the boat for 10 minutes and then it broke the 25 lb test. Not disapointed one bit though. It was my first time Salmon fishing and to feel the strength of that fish was amazing. Dave got to play it a bit as well (since it was wearing me out). He guessed that it was probably a 30 lb'er or so. What a rush. Can't wait to try again.
