went halibut fishing for the first time friday and saturday. I went to coyote bank and dallas bank and didnt have much luck, my parents just bought some beach property in sequim so we took the boat our right in front and everyone says they dont catch hallibut there and have not in years......but my dad my friend and i call caught fish. i got a 40 punder and the next day my buddy got a 45 pounder, and 15 minutes after that we got another 20 pounder in the boat, and the 20 pounder fought the hardest and as soon as it iwas in the boat the steel leader were were using busted cause the fish faught so hard. haha awesome day, cant wait to go again and get some more halibut
