Just writing another Florida fishing report to check in. I was home over winter break for 2 weeks and caught my share of steelhead but sadly had to come back to school. Went out on the flats this past weekend and caught my first snook on a ba-donk-a-donk topwater lure. I was using 12lbs test and it ended up being 30" and around 16 pounds. Apparently that is pretty good for snook anglers down here as they cut line pretty easily. Needless to say, it was a lot of fun. Awesome fish and awesome times.
