Launched the boat around 7am and got the line in the water by 7:30. No action until 10am then a hook up every fifteen minutes. 4 hookups but only managed to get one in the net. All the others were lost within 30 feet of the boat. By 11am, I regretfully had to leave to make it to work. All the strikes came in the area around west point where all the weeds and floating debris were collecting. I just kept circling. I trolled an Ace Hi-Fly hoochie with a splattered green pattern and yellow head behind a chrome dodger @ 3.5 mph. The fish was a bright coho about 7lbs. What a awesome day, warm sun, no wind, flat water. Can't wait to try again.
