Started down-rigging early with green hotspot flasher and a green spatterback hoochie....nothing doin'.
Started mooching a cut plug herring at the secret hole an hour before high tide(7:45am).
Hooked, played and netted this 24lb hatchery king about a half hour later!
Getting good at the solo one handed net technique, unfortunately.
Darn good first trip!

Usually short notice bit I'll give you a days notice, at least.
Snake, I was 10ft off the bottom in 100ft of water, mooching the bait in slowly after bouncing it off the bottom.
