I put my boat in at 7:00AM. The weather was clear and calm, about 40 deg. I trolled the lake using my standard chrome Super Duper with nightcrawler scented Smelly Jelly on it. I didn't even get a bite for the first 20 min until I reached the East end of the lake, that's when the action started. I caught my limit of 8-10 inch plants in the first hour on the lake. I was able to release them all unharmed and kept fishing for another hour. It warmed up real fast and I was soon down to my t-shirt. This was my first time on this lake but definitely not my last. I just wish I could have caught something a little more substantial to brag about.
