Well after 4 trips out to Port Susan I finally got my first Puget Sound Sturgeon. It's a lot more fun fishing relatively light tackle in shallow water, than the fishing I've done on the Columbia. Lil' Ripper and myself had a great day on the water Sunday. We saw numerous big fish cruising the shallows at low tide, and had two hookups bringing one near 6 footer to the boat. He, or she, swam off to see another day. What a rush to have fish of that size on in 2 to 3 ft of water! Amazing day to be out in the PNW, sun was shining and everything. Thats why we live here. I'm hooked. See you on the water.
