Me and some friends took off from the boathouse elevator at about 1. We stayed about 100 yards from Owens Beach, but the current kept dragging us towards the shore. No herring balls in sight, so we just picked a comfy spot and used some whole herring. No bites, but we were only out for about an hour and a half because the motor overheated.
