My brother inlaw and I met up with his mom's good friend. We were out for about an hour or so and I hooked into this nice KING. This was my first salmon and what a fight it was.

Im not sure but it almost looks like an adipose fin on that one, if it was you should have released it.

derrick-k is correct it looks like a adipose fin and shpuldve been released, but nice catch. by the way where did you catch off of? ive been wanting to go fishing, but me and my dad are trying to get our boat we bought of craigslist ready to go, probably gotta get the next run next year.
