Went fishing in ketchikan for 3.5 hours off the cruise ship through a charter.
Well the fishing was amazing. So we put the first rod down with a plug cut and before we can get the second rod down the first rod has already popped and i grab it and after a three minute fight we have a 12lb coho in the boat. Well the day kept going the same with us landing 7 more coho over 10lbs and 3 pinks at 5lbs. I love Alaska fishing. We were captain Ralph on the boat first light

i know how you feel i just was up there a little before you. I was there 8/8-8/11 and we had got just a ton of coho's over the 15lb range and pinks and halibuts!!!! I have pics taken at the same spot as you and at the cleaning table just behind you. After this year i'm going to make a yearly thing! It's not a bad flight from seattle either 1.5hrs. Got to love Alaska!
