I spent 3 hours (1:30-4:30) at the dock casting. The only thing I saw in the water were small ones chasing my bait. 2 kings were carried up from the boats. The people fishing there on the dock were divided into 2 groups. 1 group fishing for salmon mostly using jigs. 2nd group bottom fishing. Bottom fishing caught star fish and salmon fishing caught seaweed. One guy using crab nets caught a couple of legal rock (?) crab. There were boats galore and kayakers. The boats also got in the way of the ferry. I enjoyed my day out on the dock with the sea breeze and the saltwater smell.

the rock crab the guy caught were illegal because in a book it says you can only go crabbng wendesday-saturday

My mistake. I was at the dock on the 19th. The 19th was Saturday so he was fine. I wrote the report Sunday morning.
