I took a trip to neah bay and rented a kicker boat (17 ft w/20hs) we fished the area around wada the first day and caught greenling and rockfish and I caught a 34in lingcod on my 15lb test and using herring. the next day we went all the way to tatoosh island and caught a few nice seabass and lings. while we were lingcod fishing I caught a 40lb halibut and brought him up to the boat and realized he would beat the sh!%out our boat. anyway I released him in the water because halibut season was closed. to sum it up we had a great time and were able to fish the 2 wonderful days off no wind.
