Wow, what a nice day compared to yesterday. The water was flat, the wind was non-existent, partial sun, lets get after those toothy buggers. Again I launched at Everett at around 9:30( if your wondering why I always leave around that time it's because I drop my 8 y.o. son off at school at 9:00), only today I could blaze at full throttle and cut my time in half. I fished alone today since I couldn't get anyone else to get their lazy butts out with me. They all mumbled some nonsense about work! Whatever...
I started out on the outer bar( Possession, guess I failed to mention that part) and worked my way in as the tide came in. What a great day to be on the water. It's days like this that remind me of why I live here. The porpoises were out spouting off around us, the seals were looking for fish to steal off our lines, and the gulls circled looking for a handout. Perfect! Except for the fish catching part. I am new to this local ling fishing thing, But I still had high hopes. I was out there amongst the other boats, the charters, using the same type of baits, nada.
Oh well, that's why they call it fishing. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I'll be back at it next week. I have to do that pesky work thing this weekend, otherwise I'd be out there with you all. Good luck

No worries on the no catching. Possession was and is dead slow right now. Even the sunken ferry is fishing horrible. I'm going to look further south into MA10 next week and hit up some reefs in there. Nice report, again. You'll rip in to one eventually!!
