Another slow day in the bay. It was my father's turn this weekend. Hit a 15lb king at about 6:30am, it was caught on the old standby, green and white spoon. One of five fish seen caught between 6:20am and 6:50am. After that it was dead. About 9am he got a 3lb silver. Fished until 11:30am. Hopefully the fish are just late. One encourage sign is that we were marking several more large fish on the electronics. The checker I spoke to at West Seattle ramp at noon had seen 12 kings for 61 boats, including a 21lb caught in the bay and a 23lb caught over at Dolphin. The next best thing to catching a fish is netting a fish!
