Fishing continues to be dead slow, but, we were fortunate enough to be one of three anglers to catch a chinook as of noon. Chris and I started fishing at 5am working our way from the launch to Todd Shipyard. At 6:30 AM I spied a nice clump of fish on the fish finder and began dropping my bait down to them - too late! Just then Chris calls out "fish on!" and is into a nice chinook. Artfully reeling it in with his Canadian knuckle-busting gear, I netted a nice 12 pound chinook and the skunk was out of the boat. Caught on a cut-plug herring and Kone Zone flasher - chartruese - they really work! Sad to say that was it for the day. We fished until noon with no more bites. Despite markinglot of fish that were not dogfish. So we worked the water hard. Should only get better!
