I took my sons for morning chum action. The fishing continues to be great. We started fishing at 7:30am, low tide was I think around 10:30 or so. The fish are in thick. Best setup was a small pink corky with green yarn, but I think you could throw anything and get fish. Retrieve as soon as the lure hits the water, keep it moving on the top. James (my nine year old) really got into it. He even kept fishing through a slow period. Later he turned to me and said "I thought that it would be boring fishing but this is fun!" with a big grin on his face. He did great and caught the biggest fish. Matt did well, too, but gets bored easier and had more "rest breaks" to snack and listen to his brother's CD player. A wonderful day on the water. We stopped fishing at 11:30 as the wind started to come up. Not too crowded in front of the hatchery as boaters are fishing north of the hatchery along the shoreline.
