Had some some time and decided to search for chinook. Fished from 6 to 9am. Started at Robinson Point and trolled for an hour. Saw bait balls and herring dimpling the surface but no luck. Decided to go back to Redondo and work that area. Same story - lots of bait balls, some fish markings but no takers. Except for the pesky flat fish which even hit a plug I was pulling. Will give it a try again. Nice morning - calm, misty, not cold. High tide 07:24. Primary weapon was flasher with hoochie and scent. Depths varied 65- 125 feet, worked mid-depths and off the bottom.
