Worked the artificial reef off of Blake Island at the 11:45 low tide for one hour. I tried a variety of jigs , buzz bombs and lures with not a single strike to show for it. I did snag one bird in 35 feet of water! Very frustrating, in particular since I was marking lots of fish. The only thing I didn't try was bait.
A note to anyone heading out that way, for some reason there is only one buoy left for the artificial reef. The buoy that is left marks the north end of the reef. The rest of the reef is to the south and parallel to the shore line.
