Kirk , Young Soo and I put the boat in at the Public Boat Launch about 1000. Using the same Modus Operandi as on the the 9-10th of May and fishing at a more refined Honey Hole at the fishing site we were able to boat two lingcod in an hour and a half in the 30" range. We spent the rest of the day trying to find an elusive reef reef we had heard about. These efforts met with negative results. On 15 may, Kirk, Russ and I launched the boat at the same location. We were able to boat two lingcod, 26.5 " and 37", before we started to explore for other honey holes. We had several on but were not able to boat then. We also kept several Sand Dabs between 14-16". I hope next time all three persons in the boat will be successful in landing a lingcod. When you first hook into them, you can not tell if you are snagged or have a fish on, until they start to wiggle, and run they sure can make your reel scream.
