Don't tell me this web site doesn't provide valuable information! I checked out Tom's report below and said to my friend Manual, "lets try Meadow Point, looks like the fish are starting to come in." Boy are they ever! We launched at 6:20am (I had to remind Manual, when the captain say "6am" he really means 5:45.) After dropping 4 pots we set up off the green buoy off Meadow Point and began trolling. Both rods had red hotshot flashers with green glow hoochies and herring strips. Manual had the magnums and I had the regular size. At 7am the bite began and by 9am we had our limits including losing a couple. Our depths were 45, 55 and later 65 feet deep. Manual caught two nice fish, hen and buck at 6 and 7 pounds. I caught the babies at 3 and 4 pounds (hen and buck). All were hatchery fish. We trolled at a slightly faster pace to avoid the dogfish (caught one) - 2.2 to 2.4 mph. The crab pots produced lots of crab again, mostly females. Kept 6 nice males. Time to hit saltwater Area 10!
