Mike and I went out of Shilshole this morning. Mike brought his two sons along. We were targeting silvers so about 7am we let out our lines. The water was 52degrees and glass smooth. The sky started clear then got cloudy around 9am. We were fishing with green hoochies and flashers on downriggers in about 40-60 feet of water. As I let my line out and we were setting up Mike's sons rod I got a hard hit on my rod. I was at 55 feet. I pulled in the first fish of the day in what would be a great day of fishing. We limited the boat (8 fish) with 6 silvers and 2 really nice native chum at 14 and 16 lbs. The bite really died off by 10am. By 10:50 we had caught our last fish and headed back to pick up the crab pots I had set. I got 4 out of about 16 crabs. Great day fishing Mike! Thanks!
