My boys and I launched Friday night and anchored around the corner from Jeff Head. Ate popcorn and watched a movie. At 6am we motored over to Jeff Head for salmon. The bait was as thick as I have ever seen. And the salmon must have been too occupied to bother with our gear. At 8am we hit a fish, small salmon, that fell off. Then a few minutes later the center pole (Deep 6, dodger, silver/glow spoon at 35 pulls) started screaming. James tried his best but ended up giving the pole to dad. He did get to net a nice 11 pound hook nose silver. What a fish! Ten minutes later another large salmon hit on a spoon. James played him well but the hook pulled out. Called it an early day due to chores, off the water at 9:30. Great father-sons trip!
