Took my parents out on their annual fishing trip (they are visiting from Wisconsin). We had a beauty of a day. Sunny, warm, and a light breeze. Launched at the sling in Edmonds and ran up to Humpy Hollow. Two humpy rigs and a silver rig went over the side. Fishing depth from 40 to 75 feet deep. Started about 7:30 and had our first fish at 8:10, a silver caught at 50 feet on a humpy rig (white flasher and pink hoochie with a herring tag). It was a 5 lb bright hatchery so in the bucket it went. We saw a few fish caught but that was it for the day. They didn't mind, taking in the view was fine for them, but I was a bit bummed. I think the bulk of the pink run is in the rivers now and did hope to see more silvers showing up.
