My fishing buddy Dave and I launched at Alki and headed north for Ling Cod. We marked loads of fish at the reef but couldn't get anything to bite. We moved south a bit to get more sole for bait, & for dinner. Dave thought the chicken wing he head bought at Safeway the night before was to tough to eat and stuck it on his hook. He had the fight of his life when a 29 inch Cabezon slammed the chicken wing. We didn't get any Lings, but the Cabezon, sole, and flounder we caught made up for it.
