Arrived at the Lewis Street bridge around 8:30 and it was snowing. This is my 3rd time steelheading on this river. Put on my waders and fished the sand bar with salmon eggs. After 1.5 hours of fishing, I hooked into a powerful steelhead. I fought that fish for about 3 mins and landed it. Fish steelhead ever! The fish was hella bright and had sea lice near the ventral fin. Pulled the scale at 5.5 lbs. Very beautiful hen!! I am addicted to steelhead fishing now. I am gonna go again next weekend.
