With the water running fast and murky it seems that about every little backwater eddie is holding large numbers of pre spawn walleye. The main technique is jigging about any plastic tipped with a worm. My preferred method is using a bottom bouncer and slow death rig with about 4 ft. leader, an bright color seems to be working. My wife Evie and I boated 14 nice walleye Wednesday as well as released several over 22 inches after we had each kept one over 22 inches. Toward the end of the day we were trying to finish our 16 fish limit but everything we hooked was well over 22 inches so we kept turning them back. Our best fishing was down river of the third net pen, there are plenty of backwater areas with fish so if you see somebody fishing in a spot don't crowd them by fishing the same area, just find an different spot for your self, this is a huge lake with plenty our great fishing so please don't crowd other folks. We are headed back there today and I am going to try my new collection of OldGoat lures, my report will follow.

Great harvest, thanks for the report and details. I'm with you on respecting a boat already fishing a tight eddie, appreciate your honesty about that as well as the report site/location.
