Read slow as this is my last report for the foreseeable future :)
I tried going the 'secret' route to continue sharing information but getting trash talked by three "members" with a combined total of ZERO report contributions to this site have inspired me to hang up the keyboard for a bit. For future reference 'Remoras' should take the free info and move on, sometimes I wish there was a pay only site to join for about $100 a month just to know the vast majority of people on it would be serious about sharing info and contributing to the site and the sport! Off soap box.
Hit Terrell and enjoyed the sunshine for the short time it was out. Never saw water temps over 50* or a bass today. A few boats on the water but I didn't personally see anything caught. Wind was 8-12mph which doesn't allow the water temps to rise much unfortunately. I flipped, cast and drug lures in all my favorite early season spots and couldn't coax a bite. The wind had the water a little dirtier than normal but still decent visibility for this lake. Good to see some success was had Saturday, they're around, just gotta get in front of their faces.
(A thank you goes out to whoever lost the Sexy Shad spinnerbait in the NW corner, caught that and about 15 yards of line tangled in the submerged reeds, looked to be from this season as there was only very minor rust).
I'll post pics of the big and bigger fish this season in the trophy threads and look forward to conversing with those of you that I pm with regularly, beyond that........
Mods, I selected 'lock' on my secret reports just for the purpose of avoiding what has unfolded but comments were still allowed, may want to check that feature? I'll try again on this one, thank you for your last edit Mike!
